Five years after Deku lost to All For One and the latter possessed his body, war is all Kirishima knows. But Dynamight, the deserter who fled in the night after Deku’s death, is back after years of silence, and he claims that the One For All is still somewhere inside All For One - and Deku with it. Aizawa tosses the plate at the floor sending it skittering across the room.
“Sorry,” Kirishima gasps. “I’m sorry.”
Bakugou stares at the plate then at the mess on his lap. Aizawa looks resigned about something.
“That’s what I thought. No meat.”
Kirishima lets out a half sob, choking on it as it struggles up his throat. Bakugou blinks.
“No meat?” he sounds devastated, and wants to hit himself for it. But Kirishima loves meat, doesn’t he? He eats it like it’s going out of style. He swoons over the pans when Bakugou cooks it. He has Fatgum recommend the best places to eat, and has ratings for every cut of meat he possibly could get his hands on.
The rest of the class goes silent too, watching Kirishima with wide eyes. He won’t look at them, head bowed over Bakugou’s arm.
or, Kirishima accidentally kills a villain. It all spirals from there.

He tries, but he can’t make them move.Pro-Hero Red Riot is now confined to a wheelchair while all his friends go off to be the heroes they've trained to be. But it's his job to cheer them on and pretend like he's okay, be the sunshine Kirhisma they all know and love, despite wanting to cry every time he thinks about not being out on duty with them.
Staying positive about yourself is a lot harder than trying to stay positive for other people.
Besides that, his long-time crush on Bakugou is becoming increasingly more of a problem.ON A LONG-TIME HIATUS
