Sherlock Horne and Dr. Mark Watson are consulting detectives with the London Police, but a new serial killer case snaps Horne out of his self-destructive boredom and gives them a new mystery to solve. They'll cross paths with a very large crime scene cleaner, Greg Wickstead, who Horne takes an immediate liking to. Together, with the help of Horne's near-omniscient ex-wife, Rachel Mycroft-Horne, they must identify and stop the killer known only by the name signed on the tasks they leave behind - 'Taskmaster'.
WARNING: This has lots of murder, quite a lot of crime-scene blood (I'll warn on a per chapter basis), and has background implications of human trafficking, abuse, and death. These characters are inspired by, but are not really, these people. Also it has Sherlock Horne and Rachel Mycroft-Horne amicably post-divorce. I would never ever wish any harm, emotional or otherwise, on the real humans these characters are based on. They all seem lovely, IRL. Concrit welcome.

Greg's a broken hearted, out of work actor, temping as a night security guard at the British Museum. He only has a few days until an all important audition, but he can't dredge up any emotions beyond anger and sadness from his recent breakup. That is, until he makes a very strange discovery in the new Greek Mythology exhibition, in a simple wooden box.
He bends down, getting right up in what he assumes is going to be where the camera is, and opens the doors all at once.
“Oh! Hello!” the face startles.
Greg ignores its greeting, ignores the fuzzy funny grin it’s giving him – all gap toothed and enthusiastic. Ignores the way the skin at the corners of its eyeliner-and-smokey-eyeshadow-daubed eyes crinkles genuinely, or the soft looking texture of the greying auburn short beard.
It is frighteningly realistic.

Summary
In a little village on the coast, Alex Horne the locksmith has stayed late as the snow piles up outside. He's about to head home to his warm, comfortable, bed when the phone rings - who would need a locksmith at this hour, in this weather?
“Sorry!” Greg calls over the storm. “Are you the locksmith?”
The man holds up a bag, as if that were proof enough – but it’s dusted white and doesn’t tell Greg anything – as if he’d been in the snow for a while.
In fact… Greg looks around. The snow is tearing at his face and he scrunches his eyes to see in the ghostly white light of a snow-filled night – but the single track road to the cottage on the cliff has only his car on it. Instead, a rapidly filling track carved through it – knee deep – winds down towards the village over a mile away.
“Did you… walk here?” He stares at the man – not as short as he’d seemed bent over to look in the window – with astonishment.- Language:

Summary
Taskmaster AU world where Daemons exist.
Greg never had a very close bond with his own daemon, which is unusual since a daemon is pretty much a part of your own soul.
Meeting Alex is a shock to the system; Alex and his daemon are completely in tune and very comfortable with showing their emotions. And Alex's daemon is very comfortable around the new Taskmaster presenter. It takes Greg quite some time to understand what that means.-
