Atsumu is a thirty-three years old businessman – CEO of his own company, if he must brag about it – with a packed schedule and little time to sleep. But he doesn't care because, along with that, he has a wonderful daughter who just turned fifteen and whom he loves with his whole heart.
He is successful in life. Although there is one thing that Atsumu never had: a partner. He, of course, felt sad that his daughter didn't have a mom, but he couldn't bring himself to try dating. What if the person doesn't stay? He doesn't want his daughter to get attached to someone who may leave.

Atsumu huffs and a smirk appears on his face. "How long have ya been standin' here starin' at my ass?"
"Honestly don't know," Rintarou smirks impishly. "I've lost track of time."
Atsumu snorts before putting his hands on his hips and stating proudly. "It's a great ass."
"It is." The fire in Rintarou's eyes is so intense that Atsumu feels his breathing hitch. His body starts to feel hot all over and he's sure it isn't because of the temperature of the water.

After a long moment of silence that apparently no one was decided on breaking, Atsumu clears his throat awkwardly. "So… What's yer solution?"
"Fake dating!" Tooru and Motoya both exclaim at the same time, as if utterly grateful for this very awkward silent moment to be over.
In all his very developed vocabulary, "Huh?!" is the only thing Atsumu manages to utter.
"You," Oikawa points to him and then to Sakusa, "are going to fake date each other."
Silence again.

They started dating back in highschool, and simply never let go of each other from that point on. They were fourteen year-old awkward teenagers with their heads full of volleyball dreams and professional careers, and now they're thirty-four and they've been retired for about two months from said volleyball professional careers.
As Atsumu looks fondly at the sleeping figure next to him, he allows his memory to take him back to one of the happiest moments of his life. Eleven years ago.

It's Friday night and they're snuggling on the couch while watching a movie. Atsumu is drawing small patterns on Kiyoomi's thigh, and Kiyoomi is caressing his hair gently. They're comfortable. Atsumu thinks now is a good time to talk.

The hand in his hair stills, and he immediately feels Kiyoomi's body tense against his side.
