Summary
Merlin follows Arthur on his quest to the Perilous lands, returning not just with his friend alive and well but also a new kingdom. Magic has lost so much from the purge and the years after and the first rule of magic is that there must be balance, so it gives back. Creating the Kingdom of Oplaria, rled by King Emrys.
But Merlin is not so keen to abandon his destiny and Arthur, he spends his time between the two Kingdoms constantly torn between his friendship with Arthur and his duty to his people and magic. He is good at secret identities after all.
But with Arthur constantly sidelining Merlin how long can he make excuses to stay?
And how much will this change not only the Prophecy but also the future of Albion?This is follows the show from Season 3 episode 8 -> Season 4 episode 7 but will include storylines from other episodes.
If like me you loved all the side characters well then get ready to get a lot more time with them (especially if you love Mithian, Elena and Vivian).
