However, due to her assumed to be unreciprocated romantic feelings, she feels that her honesty will drive them apart, instead of closer. She begins to cough up flowers, which only serves to show her that she was right to assume this of Kohane. Kohane, on the other hand, is upset. An has been pushing her away and looking real conflicted... Surely she didn't learn about her feelings, right?
They arrive early at Weekend Garage the next day and enter a painfully long and painfully oblivious cry-argument over each other coughing up flowers, severely upset over the implications that they were both into someone else, and that their partner was TOTALLY just crying because they felt bad over not liking the other back.
In other words: whip the wimp girl if An could manage to be more pathetic and Kohane was genuinely insane -
