    Summary

    “Elijah, look.

There’s a clunk behind him, the sound of Elijah setting something down. He hears the other man moving to come stand beside him. He should turn and face him, but he just can’t tear his eyes away from the horizon. Soon enough, though, Elijah’s where he can see him. The other man adjusts his glasses and squints his eyes, as if that will make what’s before them make any more sense.

It won’t. Amos is sure of that. But whatever is out there is not something that either of them can ignore.

It’s clear, far too clear—impossible to miss.

Out on the horizon, there is light.

    Summary

I write as a way for my brain to break the Laws of Motion! And here we are...

Kallum and Alessia Peregrine, twins in New York City! Kal, a cunning chemist-turned-writer, and Sia, a woman who knows a lot of things, who has a plan for her life she’ll see through. They use the name of one of the brightest minds of their time, Dame Anna Hanover, a charming woman who hides far too much behind a cheerful smile, to get their words and names out there. The words draw in Dakkar Cavendish, a brilliant inventor who feels like he’s made promises—but to who, he doesn’t know.

The editor, Charles, hates his job, and is reluctantly convinced into printing the twins’ words. John Herschel won’t be a pawn, his plan to launch his and his dearest friend’s invention drawing near. Benjamin, the governor, seethes with jealousy, watching the Satellite with growing bitterness.

And in the distance, a Traveller with far too much behind her waits, refusing to fail anyone else. A young man with a pencil grins far too brightly, as his pencil gleams with ink, ready to take down your words. Only your words, of course.

What are you waiting for? Don’t be scared of the dark. That’s where the dreaming starts.

    Summary

"As you all well know," Morgan begins, in the same teasing lilt he uses during his performances, "I am a rampant homosexual and blatant enemy of delicate sensibilities and public decency everywhere-"

Cosmo wolf whistles and the rest of his friends cheer. Morgan holds out his hands, calling for silence. “Please, hold your applause.”

An evening with the crew of the Ellen Austin. Morgan examines his feelings.
