There were three tells that told Ted Booster wasn’t *his* Booster.
1. His hair was thinning in the back and (although he hated it being pointed out) had the beginnings of speckled grays.
2. Booster would follow Ted around like a lost puppy. Not that he didn’t already do that, but it felt more like he was scared of losing sight of Ted.
3. When they hugged goodbye, Booster held on a little too tight for a little too long. -
