    We follow Branch through many hardships as the story slowly begins to merge with events from the movies—but with my own twist.

    After Poppy talks to Branch about the awesome party they were going to throw, which ended in the grey troll going back to his bunker, she's suddenly transported to a big and dark room with a big rectangle in the center, other trolls also being transported and freaking out. Then she notices that the other side of the room has random Bergens in it, and the trolls rightfully panic even more.

    Before a loud and echoing voice interrupts them.

    Turns out, if they want to go home, then they have to watch Poppy's and Branch's future.

    Not to mention that for some reason, the old boyband 'Brozone' seems to know who Branch is.

    Tangled in a web of curiosity and drowning in guilt, he regains some past motivation. It wouldn't be hard to return Branch to his original color, right? I'm sure we all know the answer to that one. Unsurprising, it’s increasingly difficult right out the gate when they can't settle down on equal terms. The two trolls had never been peaceful with each other and it seems like they never will... until Poppy twists Branch's arm into giving haven to the only yoga instructor in the entire village.

    Through endless emotional strife and turmoil, Branch and Creek become closer in familiar ways while sweet memories lose their sense of reality, sprinkled with pain.

Except maybe a particularly persistent Blue Troll who knows that she has happiness inside of her, and is determined to help her bring it out.

    The night of what would be their final performance was one of the worst nights to exist. John Dory pushed them over the edge and his younger brothers, besides Bitty B who was left watching the whole scene, got so upset that they decided to leave. John Dory left to hike the Neverglade Trial, Spruce left to let go of his heartthrob image, Clay left to be taken seriously, and Floyd left to find himself. Each of them left their baby brother by himself to be taken care of by their grandma. The same grandma that got eaten by a bergen a few months after. Branch didn't have anyone else to raise him. He turned gray and was forced to escape the troll tree and live in the new troll village all by himself. Or at least near the village. 15 years after that fateful night, John Dory accidentally finds Branch and almost breaks down seeing him gray. He tries to bond with him only to get growled and cursed at. Thinking Branch needs an intervention, John Dory gathers the rest of his brothers to try and make Branch happy. . . only to fail miserably.

    Will Branch be able to love them again? Will they become a family?

    Or will they have a repeat of that dreaded night?
