Summary
"There were days where the feelings of failure were all I thought about," continued Barbara, "But after enough of that, something occurred to me. Dad was alive. He was alive because of what I did. And he wasn’t the only one. We save people, Steph. We’re good at it. We all have strengths and we all have shortcomings. As Batgirl, the two of us can bring out the best of each other. But we have to do it together. There’s nothing shameful about admitting that.”
The two sat in silence for a few moments as Stephanie digested everything she had heard. She looked into her tea again and let out a chuckle. Barbara smiled.
“...you’ve been spending a lot of time up here thinking, haven’t you?” said Stephanie.
“Sure have,” said Barbara, taking a sip of tea.
“Coming out of isolation with all this sagely advice,” added Stephanie, “you’re like a soothsayer or something.”
“Or an Oracle.”

Summary
“What is it, Bruce?” asked Barbara impatiently, “You said it was important.”
“Not important enough to tell me,” scoffed Dick.
“It IS important,” confirmed Bruce, ignoring Dick, “The Cluemaster has escaped from prison.”
The tension across the room tightened. Barbara sighed uncomfortably as Stephanie froze up, staring at her feet. Dick looked to Alfred for an explanation, but the butler simply looked as tense and distressed as the rest of them.
“When?” asked Stephanie suddenly.
“Hours ago,” said Bruce.
“Someone want to fill me in?” asked Dick after another moment of uncomfortable silence.
“I’m afraid the Cluemaster,” explained Alfred, “is Miss Stephanie’s father.”
Dick nodded in understanding. Now Bruce’s choice in Stephanie actually made a little bit more sense. She wasn’t just some vigilante, she had that good old parental baggage that Bruce was so fond of.
