Powder was banished from Fairyland at the age of seven because she didn't develop wings. Her older sister, Vi, comes with her so that she does not grow up alone, but Vi choosing to go with Powder means that she is banished too. Vi feels ashamed of being from a society that banishes people for not having wings, so she hides her wings in solidarity. She doesn't think she will ever see another fairy ever again, until Caitlyn Kiramman flies into the restaurant she works at. This really shakes things up.

Summary
We know much of the major events of Powder & Vi's lives. We saw their parents death. We saw the explosion that tore them apart. We saw the fight that brought them together. We saw Powder fall down a well and "die". However, we don't really know what Powder was thinking at any given moment. For such an important character in the story, surprisingly little can be understood of her reasoning in many events of the story. Sure, we can guess, but we don't actually know. This story takes its crack at Jinx's noggin.
We'll follow everything from just before the bridge massacre to the moments after she, "...fell down a well." More than that, we'll go between the episodes and moments. Try and really create a roadmap for how one goes from being a supposedly normal, nice young girl to a supposed psychopathic insane woman whom really loves explosions. How much of it is her? How much of it is the environment she grew up in? Is there more to her state of mind, or is it all just as it seems?
