That’s all you have to work with.”Phoenix’s eyes dimmed as he heard the vague metaphor of an answer, but just as he’s about to give up - a chilly, tingling sensation washed over his eyes, causing Phoenix to blink multiple times instinctively. He knew this sensation, and he realized what this meant as his eyesight was tinged with a light green, so he immediately focused his eyes back on Godot.

Summary
The class trial isn’t where it started. It’s just the easiest to explain, because telling it from the beginning means revealing so many other secrets he can feel himself cracking under the weight of them all. The class trial tells it best, anyway, especially in a law office. And for Edgeworth and Larry, it probably wouldn’t even be a lie.

This fancase takes place 6 months after Bridge to the Turnabout (don't worry about the disbarrement, we're just gonna move that one year, ok? Good), when Godot, who's in prison for his crime, gets urgently called out of his cell by none other than Maya, who claims Phoenix is in trouble and Edgeworth is abroad, not answering any calls, so in desperation she used her leverage on the police as Master of the Kurain school of Channelling to get him out of jail for a trial's time. The charges are as follows: aggravated murder, 67 years old Prosecutor Hank Truffle was found dead in his apartment and Phoenix was there, a gun in his hand. He refuses to talk to anyone, so it's up to Godot and Maya together with old and new characters alike to figure out what really happened at the scene, while the clock keeps ticking.
