Summary
During a walk around town, eight-year-old Rin stumbles upon an injured boy about his age hiding in an alley. Despite Rin’s insistence on taking him home, the boy refuses. Not wanting to leave him alone, Rin instead decides to help the only way he knows how—by mimicking what he’s seen others do to treat injuries. He carefully patches the boy up as best as he can, proud of his work even if he’s just guessing half the time.
Moments later, a group of strange people dressed entirely in black appear. They speak in a foreign language—one Rin doesn’t recognize—but the injured boy understands and responds fluently. A little help here a lot of drama there and now Danny is on a new Earth with his new adoptive father. Living in Gotham with Pariah, Dorathea and a few other ghosts while trying to figure out whether the normal life was truly for him.

I came for *him*"--he gestured to the doors into his grandfather's chambers--"and the only person on this compound I have a grievance with is *him*. So I ask all of you: Do you truly care for that man so much you're willing to risk being one of the lucky eight?"

There were two shadows left standing in front of them. Red was fairly sure that Red Hood had a safe house nearby. Red Hood was with the Outlaws still wasn’t he? He’d stopped trying to kill Red and had an uneasy alliance with the rest of the Bats, so Red was fairly sure he’d be okay with them borrowing some supplies.

He supposes it won't kill him to try to work with this supposedly skilled class president if it means that everyone will get off his back for being 'aggressively asocial' (although he will still keep NDAs on standby).
A seal of fate, a blood right, and a hidden prophecy lead Marinette and Damian on a rollercoaster of emotions, humourous misunderstandings, comeuppance -- and marriage?!
