They sent you to some fancy mall to be the janitor near the daycare, testing your abilities before they "make more of you".

    You didn't like being called mindless. As far as you could tell, you weren't that different than the humans you saw during the day. You had thoughts and feelings all the same. So why did everyone treat you poorly? They poked and prodded at you, they purposely made messes just to watch you clean them up, they called you mean names while they looked at you, treating you like you weren't able to comprehend them.

    Those two working in the daycare were different, though. They said hello to you, helped you clean up if they had the chance, asked you questions and actually cared about your thoughts. The happy one even called you his friend. You felt enamored by them.

    Mute Moon is the first idea that inspired me to create this collection, and is a concept that I will most likely return to a few times here. The first chapter is an exposition of sorts to the concept, and does include some short and sweet smut at the end, but is not necessarily required to enjoy any of the chapters.

    I'm going to try and avoid any two-part nonsense and keep everything contained to its own chapter, but if I have a strong desire to continue a oneshot then I will label it as such.
