None knew how the question was asked, or how the Goddess heard of it, but upon hearing between the Aesir, & Olympians, the Vanir, & Olympians who was the fairest, the Most beautiful, the most powerful, and the most influential of all the Goddess. Freya, & Hera at first ignored these questions, but as their followers questioned whether their Goddess was indeed the better Goddess, and their most devout, and loyal subjects seeking to priove her Goddess was indeed the Superior Immortal.
At first minor brawls occurred, and then the more devoted began raiding, and pillagging the temples built in their goddess honor.

And Hecate is all ghastly blue light and wild eyes as she pushes through towards them. Artemis’ hands are still tangled in his hair, blood is still clumped to the brown of his strands. It’s all one orange mess when the blade cuts it through. Like organs falling heavy from a slit belly. They lay on the rocky shore, sallow and still dripping and Apollo cannot tear his eyes from them.
(Python’s body stretches metre after metre, all that blood, all that bone. Mother won’t let him cut his hair to the scalp, says it goes against his nature, but this must be against his nature too. This wickedness down to his core. The sickness that twists at him with each heavy thump of fetid hair on the rock.)
