"Blitz! What are you doing here?" the bird half-shouted, little white pupils darting about.
Of all the reactions Blitz thought he’d get, fear wasn’t one of them. The imp raised his hands and approached the, clearly, wounded animal. “Whoa, Stolas, easy. I just came to check on you.”
“I’m fine,” Stolas said quickly, pupils disappearing into bottomless reds. The owl was trying to unwind the cable to the IV which was connected to a clear bag by his hospital bed. “You should go.”
Blitz winced and stepped back. Never, never had Stolas told him to leave.

If there was something Blitzø had in spades, it was bad decisions. Not that it was his fault though, why should he bend to reality's will when he could make reality his own bitch. There are certain decisions he can't run away from though, especially if they're inside him and growing every day. Someone really needed to shake some sense into him.
