Summary
Charlie Morningstar left her home to follow her dream to open a new establishment where sinners could be redeemed, the Happy Hotel.
And yet, not even she knew that sometimes chasing a rainbow is like throwing a rock in a pond: it causes ripples enough to cause a domino effect through all nine rings of Hell, disturbing the fragile peace that came with the realm of darkness. Even with her good intentions, she’s unknowingly dragging all known realms into the grim unknown, for she is quickly lured into an age-old war with each soul she tries to save.
As Hotel continues to exist, all eyes are looking at her now, even those who are beyond everything that exists... not all of them will follow her pipe dream. Running away from the only 'home' they knew, Fran unfortunately encounters a popular radio host deep in the winter woods. Recognising a family trademark, Alastor remembers how his old tailor had to... quit unexpectedly. Both laborious and mundane tasks were always piling on back at his cabin- a helper would aid in him becoming more active. A great opportunity.
Some ideas on how to keep them anchored already bloomed in his mind.
Kind of made the OC on the spot, Fran can be short for either Francis or Francesca, whatever you decide. Not much is described appearance wise except when useful to the plot which I say is for freedom of choice to decide yourself (definitely not bc I can't draw). First time ever writing a fanfic- this was inspired by @shoutinghare ‘s tiktok drawing of Alastor that got my day dreaming cogs turning lol.
