One side was King Peppy's kingdom of Pop Village which was facing a predation problem along with an astonishing lack of technology.
The other tribe were the pop trolls of the south in Chart kingdom with their ruler King Creek.
Upon Creeks insistence of marrying poppy and leaving Peppy little to no choice but to agree for the sake of the rest of the pop trolls.
