It wasn’t fear. Kris had never been afraid of storms, or rain; in fact, they’d always been a pretty quiet kid, all things considered. It wasn’t the rain or thunder that rolled a haze over their mind, a darkness settling coldly at the edges, sharp and unwelcome. No, it was the feelings that came with the storms; the reminders, the memories, the echoes of pain that weighed down their shoulders and landed like bruises upon their mind.
They couldn’t even remember, and that was the worst part. It was just a haze of emotions, familiar yet so distant. Something that happened to them, but didn’t; something they couldn’t grasp, weren’t able to conceptualize. It happened, but it wasn’t there, but they felt it.

“S'not your fault that—”
“—I hurt you,” Susie finished. She chewed on the concept, the edges of her voice frantic, her throat thick. “Because you deserved it.”
“Yes.” Kris pressed her hands against their chest. They smiled in a way that failed to be reassuring. Each desperate breath shuddering through their lungs confirmed everything Susie didn't want to know. “S’fine. It’s okay.”
Kris burned like a charred pan straight out of the oven, or an oil fire stoked by liquor. Susie reeled away. “You—you were trying to set me up,” Susie accused, trying to edge words around the chasm opening in her gut. “You were trying to get me to hit you.”
Kris wants Susie to hurt them. They need her to hurt them. Susie isn't as on board with the idea as they are.

Spoiler Waring: Story contains spoilers for all of Danganronpa V3.
Miu is out of patience. She has no desire to be involved in a killing game. Unfortunately, the mastermind didn't give anybody a safeword, so Miu has to end the killing game herself. She will do whatever it takes to escape from the Ultimate Academy. If that means building a Gigantic Laser Cannon, so be it. The Ultimate Inventor will invent a way out.
Miu receives both help and detriment from from her fellow Ultimate prodigies as she works day and night to build the device that could be everyone's salvation. As she gets support from Kaede, Keebo, and others in between long sessions of work on her all-important invention, Miu will have to answer some difficult questions.
What is she willing to fight for? Who will she work to protect? How far will she go to achieve her goals? Can she afford to believe in anybody? Are all robots completely incompetent? How dangerous is electricity, really? How long has she been awake? Is she smelling colors?
