He’s lived over a thousand years and yet he can’t gather the strength to look at himself.
There’s a knock at the door.
“Freyja,” an annoyed voice calls. It’s Xehanort, clearly pulled into some game of Eraqus’s design.
Luxu glances at the scissors for a moment before huffing.
“Go away.” His voice is more choked up than it should be. There’s a pause outside the door and Luxu thinks that Xehanort may have actually listened to him. But then there’s another knock, this time with no voice to accompany it. Luxu simply repeats his words, hands still shaking. He has to keep it together.
He has lived a very long time, seen some truly awful things, and he can’t even cut his damn hair?

Summary
I wanted to make Demyx content but also wanted to explore his character more and couldn't do this much with just drawing SO. There weren't as many just Dem vibing and hanging out with people fics as I wanted so I basically just made my own KLSDJFSKLDFJL they're kind of messy cause I made them all only vaguely connected until more recently when I've added a vague plotline.
Basically, Demyx can't remember his past no matter how hard he tries. It bugs him about as much as you'd expect. But it's starting to become trouble as his powers begin acting out of turn and gaining strength, and his memories keep trying to push themselves to the surface. Shit bro, what's up with that? Even though he always wanted to know who he was, he's frankly dreading to find out these days.
