Summary
A dark era has fallen on an unsuspecting Cybertron, with the death of Nominus Prime and the Senate taking over- something else rises from the darkness, not just Functionism or the newly established Decepticons. A new enemy slots itself into the game, taking advantage of the incoming war on the horizon.
Demons, spark-eating vamparc bots who feasted on both the sparks and energon of cybertronians, Autobot or Decepticon. No one knows how they were created, or where they came from, but they were dangerous. Almost impossible to kill...
Too bad for the demons, one lone bot, uncovering past memories of a life once-lived, knows exactly how to kill them.
After all; once a Demon Slayer, always a Demon Slayer.
Hot Rod had always known he'd been weird the first moment he onlined his optics as a sparkling, he never really expected recreating the Demon Slayer corps from his human memories as Tanjiro when he grew up but then again, he hadn't been expecting demons to be on Cybertron.
However; these demons weren't exactly like in his memories, they weren't weak to the Sun and could easily hide among Cybertronians.
At least they were still weak to Breathing Styles.

“HEY BIG RED!” Cliffjumper, even the Vehicons, paused at the scream from somewhere behind him, at the cluster of energon crystals. “DUCK!” It was instinct that had him automatically following the warning, his frame hitting the ground just as a volley of energon-fueled blasts that sniped the cons down. For a moment, Cliffjumper thought he had found a fellow ‘Bot hiding on Earth. But when he looked back, instead, he found a fleshy human, but their arm was a glowing metal barrel instead?
Yuu knows why and how they’re here on this Earth, they just don’t know who brought them here when they should’ve been with Death in the end. Who the hell is Primus? Oh well, all they do know is that they needed to help Primus’ ‘kids’, whatever that meant. They got a cool upgrade to their forms though, not to mention their weapon modes are now big as hell on the account of their new alien meisters. Also, Energon tastes funky, they like the crystal stuff better for the crunch... What was their mission again?
Aka, Alien God sends a semi-feral lil' armory to aid his kids. There are various untold side-effects from this single action. "Whoops." Says Primus, unconcerned. More at 11.

See for yourself, what else is out there.
A normal day is severely sidetracked when a gold and silver sphere appears in Omega Outpost One. No one remembers taking it in, no one knows where it came from and no one certainly knows what it's capable.
Apparently it's capable of peering into alternate universes, differing worlds that show them what-ifs, maybe-could-haves and never-will-be. This will be a learning experience, not only for the Autobots, but for the Decepticons as an identical artifact appears on the Nemesis and the Cons are unknowingly watching alongside them.

Summary
The war between Autobot and Decepticons was put on hold when the Quintessons attacked, forcing both factions to unite against a deadlier, common foe.
Optimus Trion, General Commander of the Autobots, is war-weary and tired. Fighting alongside an old enemy, a once-friend, perhaps something more in another life; Megatron, General Commander of the Decepticons. His faith in Primus and the way of the old Primes had been waning over vorns, that is, until two mysterious Primes appeared out of nowhere.
Now it's a race between which side can capture one or both of the Primes, unfortunately, they both kept disappearing and no one knew where they went.
Orion Nox hated the Matrix, maybe he even hated Primus, he just hated the responsibility that was suddenly on both his and his Amica; Dion's shoulders. He didn't want to be a Prime, didn't want Dion to be a Prime, but dammit, Cybertron needed them, and he hated the Quintessons more. Dion, unfortunately, seemed to be excited about the whole thing.
Now if only his human self could stop calling him and Dion magical girls…

MW: How.When Ash Ketchum was to set off on his journey across Kanto, the legendary Pokémon of the world were very interested to see how it would go. Arceus set a very simple ground rule: Nobody was to interfere. Ash was to have a normal journey without their shenanigans getting in the way. Of course, then they all found out that Ash had been freely chatting with the Kanto legendaries for nearly two months, some of them just couldn't leave well enough alone, and by the time Ash's journey was three weeks in he'd already indirectly saved the world. Things... kind of spiralled out of control from there.
Or: the legendary Pokémon have a chatroom and discuss disrupting canon as much as possible.
Alternatively or: the Ash Ketchum group chat that existed before any of his human friends ever joined.
