Welcome to Play By Our Rules!
This was a reward for my readers over on Quotev once my "Fan Life" Life Season got popular, and so I put the Lifers into the mechanics of the game.
It was originally going to be just the one fic, but then I realised it would be difficult to write multiple POVs for different scenes, how you would watch a life season from multiple different POVs too. And so I split it into two parts, Set 1 and Set 2! They can and would be recommended to be read parallel to each other.Knowing me, I will most likely add to this over time, maybe oneshots or another Set for scenes I thought needed more POVs, but for now, it's just the two.

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

“What’s going to happen to me now?” Tommy whispers quietly. He would rather spend eternity in that hellish limbo than go through being revived again. Being revived was worse than anything he’s been through since things first went to shit. He can’t imagine how much worse it would be a second time let alone again and again and again and-
“I’m going to send you somewhere else,” Kristen responds. “Somewhere you can heal and be happy.”
“Does a place like that even exist?” Tommy used to think that was possible. That he could find somewhere to heal from everything he’s been through where he could learn how to be happy again, but now that hope has been smothered to death and buried below bedrock. He’s tried over and over again to move on and heal and be happy, all he wants is to be happy, but the world has continued to fuck him over again and again and he’s lost hope.
