John Doe.
He was a bigger man.
Tall.
And muscular.
He was tanned. Not too tanned, but he definitely tanned more than burned in the sun. He had an aquiline nose, distinct cheekbones, and a cleft. He had curly hair; curly, chestnut brown hair. He was banged up from the hit and run. Cuts and bruises, though, the swelling was going down and the fresh red-purple was seeping into a yellow. Had three casts and almost lost his spleen. Dry lips from a week and a half asleep.
He was breathing, though.
Breathing steadily.
He was Tara Kaplan’s first John Doe.
And no one was sure if they would ever figure out who he was before he woke up.

Tommy leaned against a tree and tried to catch his breath. It wasn’t exactly easy between the intense heat, thick smoke, and the painful ache in his ribcage. He guessed it had to be at least seven or eight broken ribs, but he wasn’t a doctor nor was he going to poke around at his chest and try to figure it out- it didn’t matter anyway. His head was throbbing in pain and his limbs felt incredibly heavy. The ringing in Tommy’s ears hadn’t stopped, and the pain in his shoulder and arm was getting worse and worse.
But Evan was waiting for him.
This was not how Evan Buckley would turn out to be his last.
Tommy pushed himself up off the tree he’d been leaning against and continued walking.

It's the middle of the night when Steve whispers to Danny, "Hey, Danno? You awake?"
Now, Steve calls him 'Danno' for three reasons: one, he needs Danny to 'book 'em'; two, he's teasing him; and three, there's something serious he needs to say. They're in bed, so no one's getting booked and they haven't said anything in the past several hours (of Danny going in and out of sleep and Steve being... Steve), so Danny doubts he's getting teased.
Which means Steve has something serious to say.
"Please don't ask me if water is wet to fish. It's too late for that, Steven," Danny says, trying to break the tension he already feels building in himself. Steve snickers, a puff of breath behind Danny's neck.
"Nah, I was saving that for the morning," Steve responds. And then, "But seriously."
"What?" Danny asks, wary.
"Uh, well. I think..." Steve trails off and Danny hears him take a breath to steel himself. "I want a baby."

Inspired by when he has PTSD he kept seeing the time he was beaten up by the Joker, and his young self always wanted him to help, which Jason couldn’t, knowing it was all in his head.
Jason keeps seeing Little Jason at random times. What Little Jason wants? At first it was petty little things, but then he pries to everything Jason had ignored all this time, and little Jason won't stop bitching until he gets what he wants. That was fine too, then Little Jason asked for something Jason had given up for. Internal dilemma and an unsure but bold move later... maybe having Bruce aren't that impossible of a wish.
This fic won't be finished, and I gave permission to everyone picking this up, or just take the idea.
