    Inevitably, the image of a briefcase pops up in his mind, containing a hero suit and all of his dreams, given to him by the only person who could be stubborn enough to spend so much time working to make it happen without asking for anything in return.

    He thinks of an extended hand and blond hair, on deep red eyes and star-shaped scars.

    Katsuki whirls around. "I have been saying shit, you fucking idiot! Begging you on my hands and knees, I've been saying shit!" He steps forward into Izuku’s space. "Stop hurting yourself! Stop being reckless! Stop risking your damn life!"

    Since losing One For All, Izuku's life has slowed to an aching pace. Adrenaline lies dormant in his veins, his days morph into one with a repetitive schedule.
    A singular variable makes these days less torturous: Kacchan.
    His care, his attention, their bond has been strengthened with tungsten, unable to be shattered.

    Izuku has given up on being a hero, yet Katsuki refuses to let Izuku's dream die.

    So, when granted with the opportunity to bring back One For All, Katsuki takes it.

    “Honestly Deku, I really couldn’t care less that you have a girlfriend.”

    Silence fell upon the room as Izuku gave him a look he couldn’t quite decipher. “...What are you trying to say?” Izuku finally questioned after several moments, carefully.

    Shit.

    Katsuki has been pining for years after Izuku. He's softened up a bit, bankrolled a hero suit for the nerd, and gives lectures at UA whenever Izuku requests it. So when what he thought was a dream they shared doesn't pan out like he'd planned, life goes in a direction Katsuki never would've expected.

    A story told over five acts which leans heavily into the pain of three characters, with Katsuki's anguish being the focal-point. The happy ending and eventual comfort to the hurt exists for everyone, no matter how bleak things may seem at times, but this story will be gut-wrenching to read most of the chapters. If you aren't at least a bit of a masochist, this fic is probably not for you. You have been warned.

    Oh, and the title of the fic is in part inspired by the song Scorpio Rising by Soccer Mommy, and also in part by, well, astrology.
