–“Do ya’ think I’m pretty?” Angel locked his eyes on Husk’s, searching those feline amber depths as if they held every truth. They were so close he could see every downturned lash, every grey hair in inky fur. There was an agonising moment of silence where Husk’s brows furrowed and he set his mouth in a hard line, then with a swig of whiskey straight from the bottle, he sighed.
“No,” he said simply, and Angel’s heart dropped to his stomach. He hung his head, lower hands twiddling in his lap as his eyes burned. He wouldn’t cry. He couldn’t. Of course Husk wouldn’t think he was pretty – he wasn’t anything like the men who called him that. The sting of rejection rendered him breathless like a well-placed punch to the gut.

Summary
The daycare was a cute walkup with a sign proclaiming it “Sarah’s Sweeties”; Miguel had to duck his head and twist sideways to get through the door. The entry was small but welcoming, with a hand-painted mural of a field taking up most of the space. A young woman sat behind the front desk, playing on her phone and chewing gum. He approached her just like he’d practiced.
“Miguel O’Hara, here for May Watson Parker.” He spoke softly and with a slight lisp so as to avoid revealing his fangs.
For some reason, her face went completely red. “You’re new,” she squeaked out. “I definitely would have remembered you.”

First, something big and bulky and burning hot pushes him clear across the room, pinning him to the wall.
Second, he becomes aware of a strong scent of sex emanating from Miguel's room.
Third, he drops the fucking donuts.When Peter stumbles across Miguel, naked and desperate for an Omega, he does whatever he can to help him.
He just doesn't expect that part of helping him means becoming an Omega, at least for the nght.
