Summary
Telemachus' father Odysseus vanished when his plane went down over the Appalachian mountains seven years ago, and no one has seen him since. Unfortunately, this means his story is like catnip to every conspiracy theorist in a thousand mile radius. Telemachus is just trying to keep these losers from re-traumatizing his mom- and himself, to be perfectly honest- but some of them are getting increasingly persistent. One in particular is adamant about getting Telemachus alone for an interview. At least, Telemachus really hopes it's just for an interview. He'd rather be focusing on other things...like the massive crush he's been nurturing for his childhood best friend.

Sometimes paranoia is correct. Sometimes doctors screw you over and don't send in your prescription, leaving you to go into heat unexpectedly. For Corvin, this is going to be a long, painful few days of PTSD flashbacks and throwing things at the wall, and not much of the horny heat haze most omegas experience. All Nicky wants to do is help him through it, in whatever form that takes; Corvin is skeptical about if that's a good idea. The fact that Nicky's been in love with Corvin for years doesn't help.

Back with the found family, back with the polyamorous shenanigans, and back with the space vampires. Half murder mystery, one fourth trauma recovery, and one fourth an excuse to write about elaborate masquerade costumes.
