Summary

An unlikely friendship bloomed from their exchanges until Alastor trusted the Grand Duke more than his own spouse, Vox. As the years went by and their friendship deepened, Vox tried to assassinate Alastor to take complete control of the kingdom. In their final confrontation, Alastor and Vox are too equally matched and end up killing each other. His one regret, never having the opportunity to meet his closest friend, Lucifer.
In this life, Alastor journeys north to remedy his regret and save his mother. He simply wants to live a peaceful life with his mother and closest friend but fate had never been kind to him....
