Summary
He could still feel it.
That was the worst part.
Not the cuffs, though they bit into his wrists until the skin there was hot and split and tender, not the flat slab under his spine or the awful, sour reek of bleach trying and failing to drown out old blood and old fear. Not even the humming walls, the way the room seemed to breathe around him with every pulse of the fluorescent light. It was the fact that some part of him still held onto the sensation of Dazai’s blood, warm and impossible, still there if he closed his eyes.
Post-Beast. Post-Corruption. Post-Dazai. Not exactly in that order.

Not looking away from the redhead's eyes, Dazai moved his hand and put a strand of Chuuya's hair behind his ear. He then brought it to his cheek and got closer. He stopped right before their noses could touch each other.
“May I?” he asked whispering. Chuuya could feel his breath tickle his lips — it was warm, and still smelt like the crepes they had earlier.

Summary
They say, when you're starting to Fall Down, you should start carrying around something you love. Not so that whoever has the misfortune of needing to scatter your dust has something you love on hand, but so that you have something close-by to stave off the inevitable while you get your affairs in order.
Sans doesn't really have anything he loves that's small enough to just carry around. He doesn't love things.
