A Telephone Event collaboration in honor of the Better Call Saul series finale that explores the lives of Jimmy McGill and Kim Wexler post-Saul Gone.
Phones play such an interesting role in the show-- from Kim waiting to hear from Jimmy during his desert excursion as a bagman, to Jimmy wiggling his fingers at his landline, hoping for his life to turn around, to the drop phone scheme-- one that is all about connection and hope. This event plays off the those themes to present how we, as fellow fans and creatives, connect with each others' works and with the show.

But the pitter-patter of his heart and the way it stumbles over itself every time Teddy so much as offers a hint of a smile tells him that in the event of this scenario, where both their worlds collapsed and they failed, he was incapable of leaving him behind. The miracle of Teddy being alive and here, with him, is a selfish thing to celebrate, but Jonathan can’t bring himself to feel sorry about it."

Jonathan saves Teddy from Roper's attempt on his life, but their immediate movements afterwards are less than straightforward. A look into the days that follow and how Jonathan pulls himself together so he can be who Teddy needs in the aftermath.

Summary
He summons every vessel of strength left in his face to open the only eye that he can through the aching puffiness. Blurry shapes, light, Teddy, all morph into one, but eventually Jonathan can’t, anymore. He reaches up, one final attempt at some kind of clarity, and he doesn’t know what part of Teddy he finds, but he holds on anyway. He thinks it’s an arm, but it’s enough, pawing at the man like a dog gone blind. Any semblance of contact to soothe every ache inside.
The last thing he feels is a mouth brushing at his temple, a kiss that doesn’t quite know where it wants to be.
A finale fix-it in which Roper is dead, his organisation is well and truly dismantled, and Jonathan and Teddy are left to pick up the pieces—of themselves and each other.

For obvious reasons, I picked up a tiny Loki action figure from Thor a couple years before I started posting these; in January 2014, I came across a tiny Thor to keep him company. I immediately took a couple stupid pictures of them and then I just...kept doing that, with increasingly elaborate captions and situations, because I really enjoy my stupid pictures and other people have been enjoying them too. I picked up a couple more Lokis and some other MCU action figures too, and sometimes completely unrelated action figures join in (I add tags as they become relevant). The first 60ish chapters are reposts of existing pictures; now that I've got all of those up, I'm just updating when I actually post new photos. Suggestions/ideas are always welcome!

Look, I’ve never harboured any misconceptions about Loki’s opinion of me. Once, shortly after I discovered teenage angst, I might have developed somewhat of an infatuation with Loki’s blasé, I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude. It didn’t help that his face, too symmetrical for anyone’s peace of mind, with skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom, was an object of jealousy as well as absolute reverence for girls and boys alike. But after I had ended up drunk off my arse with my head in his crotch celebrating my sweet sixteen, I was quickly disabused of the idea that when it comes to me, Loki feels anything more than lukewarm tolerance.
“Jesus, Lushton, go to bed before you puke all over me,” he had said with disgust, shaking me off. “Loser.”
I’ve known for years that what I’m dealing with is a dickhead and one major case of egomania.
So when Loki’s words register in my frontal lobe, my bratty smile falls like a house of cards. “Sorry?”
“I said, move in with me.”
