Summary
This story starts with the premise of "What if Charles and Erik had met in college and started the X-Men together in the 2020s?" I wanted them to get over themselves and just work together. They've got a huge social media following as they go out and help mutants in need, and their movement seems to be going in the direction they want until one fateful night when Charles is terribly injured on a mission.

Summary
This is set in the X-men/X2 time period with a flashback to First Class era. The X-men think that if Charles and Erik would just get over themselves and get back together again things would be much more peaceful. Honestly, this started as a crack fic idea, but as I started writing it became a very serious contemplation of their love and the complications that would come from them trying to make it work.
