i saw a prompt on tumbler the other day that was like "what if the JL didn't know the bats or their identities OR that they were related until some end of the world thing and i went yes absolutely- how can i make it all about my baby Damian tho? And so heres my attempt at that lol.
The Justice League's watched each robin come and go, and presumably grow, never questioning as to how Batman had a Robin. Or who they were. Were there multiple? They would respects the bats wishes at privacy. That all would be till the league has to help clean up metropolis post-alien invasion- and the newest Robin is missing. Everything’s okay in the end tho :)

Summary
The Riddler halts. Pauses.
“What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”
Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.
“Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”
“Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”
OR
Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.
(The Amazing Spider-Man version of Peter Parker - don't have to watch the movies to understand, but there are references to the films.)

Summary
When Sirius accompanied his best friend to Frystmark for the annual council, he expected to be very bored and very cold while his royal friends did...whatever it was they did for their yearly meetings. That expectation was utterly destroyed within a few days of arriving, when three things occurred entirely out of his control:
1. He met Remus, the exceptional (and exceptionally freckled) prince of Frystmark
2. He learned to ice skate on a frozen lake
3. The city was attacked, sending him and his six new friends on a wild chase across the continent with assassins on their tail and a quest for a magic dagger dangling ahead, all because the terrible honor of killing an unkillable king fell into their laps. It's just saving the world, after all. No pressure.
(Medieval AU where James, Marlene, Dorcas, and Remus are royalty, Sirius and Peter are hanging on for dear life, and Lily wishes she never left the forest)

It was Lily, in fact, who managed to convince him to take the job only a few minutes later, after she all but sprinted into the kitchen with a second letter clutched in a white-knuckle grip, eyes panicked. He thought for a moment that someone might have died.
“Do it,” she hissed upon arriving at the other side of the kitchen island, “James, you have to do it.”
“What? Why? Just a minute ago you were saying—”
“James.” There was something desperate in her voice. “James, the other person they’re considering for the position is Gilderoy Lockhart.”
James Potter is hired to teach Defense Against the Dark Arts during his son's second year at Hogwarts, and his first evening back at the castle certainly makes an impression.
