Ghost lets himself be pulled up slightly, his hand just as steady on Soap's thigh. "That what you need, Johnny?" he asks, licking his lips behind the balaclava. Soap’s eyes drop to his mouth, flick back up. "You wanna draw blood? Be in control?"
"Lt–" Soap starts, lips parted on a rough exhale. A plea or a warning, Ghost can't tell. He's too focused on the way Soap's pupils dilate, and the way the edge of the knife digs into the fabric at his throat.

Summary
There’s a teddy in Soap’s bed; a beaten-up, old brown bear. Well-loved, if the state of the fur is any indication. Ghost lets out a choked laugh, mostly at his own expense. He wishes he was there, suddenly, wishes he was by Johnny’s side as he walked through the doorway and realised that his childhood room was waiting for him like a time capsule. Wishes he got to see the embarrassed scrunch of his face, the way the tips of his ears would flush red.
Soap has a whole second life, outside of the SAS. He’s got a mother, and a poorly-decorated bedroom, and a bear. All Ghost has is a flat that will be the same it is today as it will be the day he dies, like he was never even here at all.

The tiger raised a paw, trying to smooth out one of the curling corners as the bird rolled its eyes. A hand rested on its head, making it look up at its owner. The demon smiled down at the familiar, reaching out to smooth out the corner for it.
“Don't worry,” the golden-eyed man said. “It’s only just beginning.”
Or, when Huntr/X come back from their hiatus after the Idol Awards, they're shocked to see that not only are the Saja Boys, who they'd thought dead after the battle with Gwi-Ma, alive and well, but they're back, and building up more fans and supporters again. With their king dead, what do these demons want with the Idol world?
Author's note:
This is not a happy Jinu/Rumi fic. Their love is mutual, but it is not good for them, especially not Rumi. Jinu is not a good person in this and as much as Rumi might want him to, he does not have her best interests at heart. Read the tags. I'd put Dead Dove Do Not Eat but people associate that with darkfics, which this is not. Their relationship is central to the plot, which is why it is tagged.
