Summary
Brief snapshots of the lives of nine Malfoy heirs over the centuries and events that shaped them.
Trigger warning: implied off screen animal cruelty but nothing explicit. Despite the tags, nothing happens on screen. If you think I should change the rating, please tell me. It may make you cry. I cried a lot whilst writing it.
Inspired by chapter two of the amazing story Safety by vivi1138. When Voldemort returns, Lucius gives fourteen year old Draco a kitten so he can practise casting curses on it. If you like Drarry, please read it. If you hate Drarry you can at least read the first six chapters.

Summary
As soon as Draco Malfoy caught a glimpse of Michael in the nightclub, he knew he just had to have him. It didn't matter that he'd just got engaged to an old school friend of Draco’s, plump, good natured Lavender; he was looking at Draco in the way that suggested bed rather than breakfast, and he was weak at the knees... But Draco was used to men falling in love with him at a moment's notice - it happened all the time if you were as rich and as stunning as he was.
An invitation to join Lavender and Michael for a cosy weekend on a Muggle canal barge came like a gift from the gods. How could he fail to hook Michael? But the other part of the foursome was whizz-kid business tycoon Harry Potter, a swarthy half-blood with all the tenderness of a Bludger...definitely not Draco's type! Summary
Twelve years after the war, Draco is a successful organ tuner living in London, but he is still burdened by the effects of the war. Dark magic left him with a crippled body and, he sometimes worries, an empty heart. By chance he spots Harry in Muggle London, and the old feelings he once had for him rush back. When mutual friends express concern about Harry, it prompts Draco to seek him out. Draco is surprised but intrigued by Harry's interest in prophecy and seers, and he finds himself falling for Harry all over again. The only problem is figuring out if Harry could possibly return his feelings.
