Summary
It had been two days since Vox had – for want of a better phrase – moved in.
Two days of spending every waking hour in the company of somebody else – Husk had even been assigned the task of sitting in the bathroom with Alastor while he showered. That was an exercise in humiliation, even if the man had stared resolutely at the tiled wall opposite, granting him at least the illusion of privacy.
It was rather grating on his nerves, all this… company.

Summary
It seemed that, unlike Alastor – Vox didn’t move around much whilst sleeping.
He supposed it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. To turn onto his side would involve twisting his neck the complete ninety degrees, and not everyone could be blessed with the remarkable flexibility Alastor enjoyed.
If by flexibility one meant dislocating, breaking and re-knitting their bones, of course – but he wasn’t going to quibble with semantics. That was but one part of his skill set, and he was also impressively flexible without having to resort to those methods.

Summary
Vox was pointing to Alastor, then putting his palm flat on his chest. His expression, as much as Angel could see of it, looked pathetic, beaten down, a sad little doggy that someone tried to drown in the river. Oh fuck, oh fuck, Angel thought, is he in love with him? It’d explain a lot. Was an honest-to-Lucifer soap opera playing out in their own backyard? Could Angel possibly be so lucky?
Angel sees something he shouldn’t and decides to take his fun where he can get it, which means inserting himself into a resistant Alastor’s life as his new gay BFF and confidante. Meanwhile, Alastor tries to make sense of the changes he’s gone through over the decades, and Vox struggles with the prospect of losing his fragile empire.
