Summary
Too busy being Mechaman to ever be Robert, the omega. On the strongest suppressants his dwindling inheritance can buy, and then none when that eventually runs out too. Robert struggles to navigate life through the lens of a "normie". Someone who can't fall back on being a superhero in order to avoid his biology. He never expected to live this long to suffer the consequences of the abuse he put his body through constantly. Now, he's dealing with ex-super villains and trying to help them in their rehabilitation while suffering through a hormonal hurricane.
Luckily, or unluckily, depending on how you view it, his team is comprised of mostly single alphas who are all too happy to ogle their new dispatcher, who screams emotional baggage. Now just to see who can crack the sarcastic ass dispatcher first, and maybe do their jobs along the way.

“Get off my fucking dick, Bobert,” Chad bites out with far too little venom to be taken seriously. In fact, it only serves to widen that sly little smirk of Robert’s into a knowing smile, all sharp teeth and hungry eyes, his cool breath ghosting along Chad’s exposed collarbones - when had Robert gotten so close?
Chad feels blood rush to his face and, uh, other areas as Robert leans across his lap. He reaches out for the glass in his hand.
Looking away from the frankly pornographic look Robert’s giving him, he tracks his slow movements as Robert unflinchingly plucks the now steaming, simmering glass of what had been ice water moments ago from his grip. He places it behind himself on the side table next to his own before turning back to face Chad.
“Are you sure about that?” Robert teases, eyes flicking down the expanse of Chad’s now heaving chest. He tilts his chin up before bringing his eyes back to Chad’s, leveling him with a challenging gaze, “Seems to me like that’s exactly where you’d like to get me.”

“Satisfied?” Light grumbles into the phone, shutting his laptop with a soft click, and padding his way over to his bathroom. As he stands, L’s gentle voice crackles over the speaker.
“No, never.”
“Predictable,” he sneers, running his toothbrush under the tap water, “So, then, what would keep you satisfied? If anything.”
There’s shuffling on L’s end, before he says, fluid, like a paintbrush over wood, all too easy, like it’s the easiest thing in the world, “You.”
The Kira case wanes in 2004, and eventually goes cold. L departs from Japan, and five years go by. Until, one night in 2009, L tells Light that the Kira case is being reopened, and L wants to help acquit him before he is inevitably caught. But, like always, there is a catch that comes with L's favour, and now Light is stuck playing teacher in a house full of genius orphans while mending the rift that had blossomed between himself and L.
