“Oh my god, hi!” The blonde beamed at her when Wednesday approached her directly. “I haven’t seen you here before, are you new? I can totes help you! If you need me to show you around, I can do that too! You approached the right person for the job. Don’t worry, the homeless shelter isn’t that scary.”
“You could say so.” Wednesday replied flatly, doing a once-over. “You are a very hard woman to track down, Kara Danvers. Or should I say, Enid Sinclair.”
Like clockwork, all of the color basically drained from Enid’s face.

“I have a hypothesis.” Wednesday stated, before she took a slow step back and just like before Enid could feel the pain rush back into her with a swarm of small knives piercing her skin.
Then Wednesday stepped closer again.
The pain immediately stopped.

Summary
The other worst part was that Wednesday had made a promise to her. To keep Enid from being alone.
A promise, she was currently failing to upkeep.
For two whole months of the break, she had tracked Enid all over Montreal, which stretched all the way to the border of Ottawa. And all of that solely based on sightings alone.
A chase she didn’t enjoy.
Two months, six days and fifty two— fifty three minutes since Enid had run off.

“Sorry, Barbie, no can do.” came in reply. Only then Enid noticed Agnes. Stretched out across the width of the entire small couch, her head on Wednesday’s lap. LAP!! Sure they were dating, but usually Wednesday didn’t let people touch her that easily. Something twisted in the dark pit of Enid’s stomach. Something she didn’t want to address. The other girl’s hands (What looked like a voluntary action) skimmed through Agnes’ unbraided hair. “We are only now getting to the good parts.”
Enid visibly deflated. “What… are you even watching this late at night?”
“It’s a documentary, Enid.” Wednesday spoke up from the darkness, her eyes never leaving the screen. “About a serial killer in the nineteen hundreds, who strangled his victims with a rope, then dissected their bodies into little pieces and ate them.”

Wednesday and Agnes bond over creepy stuff while Enid feels left out. That's about it.
