Summary
Izuku Midoriya had always been short. Well, shorter than his classmates. Even Uraraka was a few centimeters taller than him. But didn’t think that it mattered. He didn’t think that he would be picked on for that, of all things. Monoma had envied his class, yes, that’s why the blond had found several ways to pick on him. He thought that it would end, that maybe Monoma would get tired of beating him up and calling him names. After all, he should be hitting a growth spurt soon, he hoped.
But then, it got worse when Izuku found out his father...was a villain known as Fireblast, who murdered millions of people and destroyed many cities over the years.

Summary
At nineteen years old, the life Alexander Lightwood had been building for himself was ended in one fell swoop. Convicted of a crime he didn’t commit, Alec is left deruned and banished, with no one to stand at his side. Not even his sister or his ex-parabatai. He’s stuck living a life on the run, constantly trying to avoid the demons who hunt after his angel blood, and the Downworlders seeking revenge, all while trying to figure out a way to clear his name.
But it’s not something he’s going to be able to do alone. Alec's going to have to learn how to trust the very people he was raised to believe were less than him if he wants to have any hope of finding out what’s going on.

He comes to a halt a few paces in front of the Clave representative and the guardsmen she’d brought from Alicante. A coiled leather whip hangs from the belt of the man at her left shoulder.
Shoulders drawn back and hands clasped behind his waist, Alec meets Imogen Herondale’s steel gaze. The words are ritual and although Alec has said them many times before, never before has he meant them less.
