Trevor looked straight at the woman and managed to lock eyes with her, “Are you alright? Do you have any family nearby you can stay with?”
“I’m-” started the woman.
The prick cut her off, “This is business of the church, there is no need for you to be here.”
“Business of the church? How is a burning home business of the church?” inquired Trevor with a little bite in his voice as he gestured to said home.
“It was the den of a witch, the land needed to be cleansed.”
Trevor stilled, fortunately, no one seemed to notice.
“I am not a witch! I am a doctor! It’s all science!” pleaded the woman. She was on her knees and looked visibly distressed.

Excerpt: There was a moment where they all stared at each other, the shock and despair heavy in the air between them. Alucard looked so small, huddled at the end of the footboard, his chapped, bloody lips were trembling and when he spoke, “Are you- why are you here? What do you want?” it was a broken whisper, muffled by swollen bloodied lips.
Trevor surprised himself by speaking first. “We came back to see you.” he spoke softly and genuinely, wanting Alucard to see the truth in his words. “Hoping to find you in a better state than we’ve been in.”

Five years have passed since the invasion of Alderaan and the beginning of the Clone Wars. Hundreds of thousands of systems have left the Republic to join the Separatist movement, and more and more innocent lives are lost everyday.
In the Republic senate, a number of senators wish to vote on a peaceful negotiation with the more reasonable Separatists to end the Clone Wars peacefully, but there are some Separatist sympathizers in the senate who have been hiring assassins to kill the senators who wish to vote on the negotiations, one of the senators being the young Alderaan senator - Padmé Amidala.
Chancellor Palpatine decides to assign Obi-Wan Kenobi and his young padawan Anakin Skywalker, formerly known as Anakin Lars, to protect Padmé from an assassin, but little do they know what's about to happen for them all.
