Summary
“Write it down,” Bellamy orders. His mouth tightens as she makes no move to obey. “Write it down, or I will.”
His eyes are shiny, hard and dark and desperate, and for a moment she sees her own feelings reflected in him. Her own selfishness. When she shakes her head, he reaches in front of her and takes the list. In strong, bold strokes, Bellamy writes her name in the final spot. He glances up as he goes, making sure Clarke understands that this is as non-negotiable to him as his name was for her.

Summary
She noticed someone sitting behind one of the trees. Long legs outstretched in front of him, and Ark guard’s jacket covering his shoulders and a head of dark messy curls resting against the tree trunk.
Clarke choked on air and froze in her steps, yanking on Wells’s hand. He turned to look at her, still smiling. She couldn’t understand how he could do that.
“He’s been sitting there, waiting for you, ever since we realised you were coming.”

Summary
Excerpt: A thousand questions filled Bellamy’s head. He wanted to know every detail of her time away. Not just the ones Kane would fish for in the morning, but the mundane stuff, too. He had already been too selfish, though, so, instead of giving in, he dipped his head and repeated, “You should sleep.”
Pushing off the doorframe was as difficult as ripping the moon out of rotation around the Earth. This time, though, he turned and walked away before Clarke could do or say something that might draw him back in. He could already feel the tides altering irreversibly as he put distance between them.
She needs sleep; she’ll be there in the morning; she’s home, she’s safe, she’s home. Bellamy repeated these affirmations to himself – only half-believing them – all the way back to the gunshed.

Summary
They lead her into a bright white room. Cadogan is there, as well as Levitt and other people fully dressed in white that she doesn’t recognise.
And Bellamy.
She almost doesn’t recognise him for a moment. He’s clean shaven, his hair is shorter and he is also dressed in the white uniform. He stands in the corner – no smile on his face. He looks young – more like he did when they first came down to Earth, when the biggest thing they had to worry about was surviving the grounders – no clue of world-destroying fires and body-snatchers and the planet jumping that was to come.
None of her other friends are here. There’s a chair in the centre of the room, it almost looks like one that used to be in the dentist on the Ark – except this one has restraints for arms and legs attached. There’s some kind of device above it. She realises where she is.
“No.” She tries to take a step back, but her arms are still held by two disciples. This can’t happen.

Summary
“Bellamy! You—you need to go back, now. Turn around and run. There's a manual override, but it won't give us enough time. We won't make it back. Not both of us.”
“If you think I'm leaving you here, you're insane. Tell me how to override it, and you go back.”
“You'll die if you stay behind,” Clarke grits out, yanking the pack and cord and glancing at her watch. Just under ten minutes now. Her heart stutters. “Bellamy, if you don't go now—”
“I'm not leaving you,” Bellamy says fiercely, reaching out to grasp the pole of the tower, mimicking her motions with a stubborn set to his jaw. “Either we both make it, or neither of us do. Now tell me what to do, and let's get it done.”
Clarke closes her eyes briefly, swallowing down her frustration and grief. Now isn't the time for it. She knows that changing Bellamy’s mind is next to impossible when he's dead-set on something. She just wishes he wasn't so set on dying alongside her.
“Climb,” Clarke snaps, then proceeds to take her own advice, focusing on the task at hand.

Summary
This story begins where Season 6 ended, minus the anomaly.
"At first, Clarke was too ashamed to admit to herself that out of all the challenges she'd faced 'peace' was the only that might finally break her."
The liberation of Sanctum behind them, for the first time they see a real chance of ongoing peace for their people. Can they see peace for themselves? With no reason to fear the future, there is now nothing to distract them from their pasts. No one struggles with this more than Clarke, who in the space of a day loses her mother to death, Bellamy to her own foolishness, and her purpose to peace. Now that the years of fighting to stay alive are over, what's left?

Summary
Bellamy makes an appearance in Clarke’s mind space and tries to convince her not to give up on herself. Clarke is dealing with a guilt so all-consuming it’s convinced her that death is the only option, maybe even a mercy. But Bellamy knows the power of forgiveness and sharing the burden. It’s his last chance to convince her not to run, to come back and face this with him.
A callback to / role-reversal of Day Trip from season 1, set in Clarke’s mind space.“You’re trying to run away, just like I was. I’m here to talk you out of it, just like you did.”
“I’m not running. It isn’t the same at all. I’m just here to try to find some peace before Jo figures out how to build the EMP and all this goes away. Before I go away.” -

Summary
The question was a minefield, she knew it. He was fishing for an answer that may have been the truth, but that she didn’t want to say out loud. She picked her words carefully.
“I did tell you.”
His eyes flashed to hers once more. They were narrowed, doubtful. She squirmed a little under his scrutiny, looking away. “If I hadn’t been there tonight,” Bellamy asked darkly, “If I hadn’t seen you come out of that tent, would you have told me?"
She didn’t answer, didn’t look at him.
“Would you have told me, Clarke? Or would I have woken up to find you gone?”
