With a plan to get closer to the king in order to earn his trust, Alastor accidentally finds himself in a rather questionable situationship with Lucifer. At some point it leaves him with more questions than he really wants the answers to. But he will not be made the fool.

Alastor needs there to be no doubt in Lucifer's mind that the sinner loves him with everything that his dead heart is capable of. Maybe if he opened himself up enough for those emotions to be shamelessly expressed, his little angel will finally get it.

They also traded barbs, competed to be a better father to Charlie, and— the worst of all— constantly made puns or horrible dad jokes at each other's expense. The Cursed Wall ™ might have finally been given a break from explosives, but it was replaced by two powerful beings constantly arguing.
All and all, though, nothing too new or exciting.
That would include Lucifer pulling Alastor closer to him in an empty hallway on the way up to their rooms, long after everyone had gone off to bed. This might appear new to others, exciting even as no one knew about it, but to Lucifer it was month two of exploring this tension between himself and the radio demon.

The Radio Demon really knew how to get under Lucifer's skin in a way like no one had ever truly been able to. Alastor almost pulled out the Devil in him, the one everyone truly thought him to be. What with how often he thought about murdering the guy.

Summary
Ever since Vox tried and massively fucked up taking over Heaven; Alastor had realised that he harboured some kinds of feelings for the King. Dealing with these ridiculously twisted feelings by drowning in alcohol to forget it all.
When the news of the queen's return reached the hotel, it only went down hill and Alastor found himself needing to let go of some steam as he jumped from on conclusion to the other.
The bar, unfortunately, taking all the hits.

After a curious encounter, Alastor strikes a deal with Lucifer, making the King the new owner of his soul. Lucifer's terms are easy to follow, Alastor was already doing half of the requirements, which allowed him to make the most of his remarkably improved situation, and have some fun along the way.
So, of course Alastor had to screw himself over, and catch feelings in the process.
