Quickly after three years of dealing with a toxic relationship with Schlatt while also taking care of Tubbo he realized that Tubbo needed to be somewhere safe. So he took him and ran.

The claws on Phil’s fingers could probably shred Wilbur’s skin to ribbons. Instead though, his touch was as light as could be as he cupped Wilbur’s face, thumb brushing his stinging cheek.
The scales were rough, but didn’t scratch him. If anything, his hand was blessedly cool against the heat on his face.
“Why is only this part of your face red?” Phil asked, his voice low.
Wilbur couldn’t remember the last time someone had cupped his face like this. The last time anyone had been gentle like this with him. It took all of his willpower not to melt into Phil’s hand.
“One of them hit me,” Wilbur admitted softly.
or, Wilbur is the cabin boy on a pirate ship, at least until the ship sinks and he's left marooned on a deserted island. It's just him, the few others that survived the wreck, and the waves to keep them company. Well, and the merman. Because apparently those things are real.

Then there's Tommy... The youngest son of the Watson family. He's not insanely smart like Techno or a Famous singer like Wilbur. He was the oops baby. Born after the Twin brothers had turned 19 and his father and mother were now 39.
Tommy goes through life and it makes an exciting story. With many bumps in the road.

Avoiding the confusion on the man’s face, Quackity took to looking around the cabin. He realized quickly that it was lit by a single fire that blazed brightly in the corner, its light dancing along the gold embellishments that crawled over the edges of the fireplace in an unnerving dance- something about it reminded him of Technoblade.
Quackity’s fingers felt swollen and itchy and hot all at once, but he couldn’t relax the fist he was forming with them. Phil had been nice, borderline welcoming, but Quackity wasn’t about to let his little get-them-comfortable-to-tell-me-what’s-wrong spiel work on him the same way it worked on the man’s kids.
“I’m afraid I don’t understand mate. If I can’t fix them, how do you want me to help you-”
“I want you to cut them off.”

“You alright? You don’t look too hot,” the stranger commented as they approached. They were on the shorter side with dark hair poking out from under a beanie. It was hard to make out any features in the dark, but Tommy didn’t care for details. It only mattered that this man was his saving grace.
“You need to help me,” Tommy spat suddenly, trying and failing to get to his feet. “I need help, please. You’re the first person I’ve seen since– please, just– I need a phone or something.”
OR newly turned vampire Tommy runs away and gets into a lot of trouble.

Nobody was supposed to be here, especially at this hour on a Friday. It was why Quackity ran here after the fight. He needed an empty place to cry in, somewhere he could patch up his bruises and cuts without someone asking, what happened?
Or worse, who did it?
So when he closed the door behind him and let out a few sobs, the last thing he expected to see was Tubbo squatting by Schlatt’s desk, lockpick in hand, trying to open up one of the drawers that contained the nation’s top secret files.
After some very confused and frightened screaming, they end up here, with Tubbo offering to help make sure the cuts on his arms aren’t infected. The silence that followed was tense and unbearable.
Until Tubbo asked that question:
“What does chingue su madre mean?”
or; Quackity teaches Tubbo Spanish and it changes everything, for better or for worse

There had been a time when Quackity had liked using his power. He had used it on his husband and on everyone he met who seemed like they could use a bit of luck. He had been so in love, and he had believed that he was loved just as much in return. Eventually, he had stopped using his power for anyone but his husband. He had still been so happy, so willing to share everything.
