This is my happy place, the fic I write to relax and feel better about the world.
It is a a warm blanket to hug you on a cold night, a romantic slice-of-life, no life-threatening drama Rookanis story set in and around an unnamed university campus and the Lighthouse café with regulars and cameos from a variety of Dragon Age personalities. And yes, the title is an intentional nod at Legends and Lattes ;)Rating doesn't really apply before chapter 14, if you want to avoid the sexy parts ;)

Summary
The Dellamorte Family Circus is one of the most prestigious engagements in the business, so of course Rook jumps at the chance of filling the open spot when one of their performers has to drop out unexpectedly.
Turns out the girl who dropped out wasn't just an aerial artist like Rook, but also just happened to be partnered with Lucanis Dellamorte. They will need to figure out how to work together, and fast, because preparation for the next circus season are already underway.OR, the one where the author went to a really good circus performance and got inspired by a lovely two-person aerial silks act ;)

They embark on an adventure to cure him from his curse and help him regain his crown in a wild fairytale medley.There will be romance and humor and 4th wall breaks and elements of horror (because fairytales are weird like that). Inspirations include Diana Wynne Jones (Howl's Moving Castle), Catherynne Valente (The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of her own Making) and Ursula Vernon/T. Kingfisher (A Sorceress Come to Call).
