Eddie is going to die at the hands of Steve 'The Hair' Harrington. He'll take him somewhere in the dark, drag him out to the woods and brain him with that bat that he's clinging so tightly to. Maybe he'll be able to do the job that Eddie is too much of a coward to do himself; maybe it's easier that way—kinder.
Or

He grabbed the walkie-talkie from his bedside table, his breathing still irregular. His anxiety was replaced by sheer anger and a confused sort of shock. It felt like the weirdest dream in the world; surely this wasn’t actually happening?
“Hey,” Eddie said into the walkie. “What’s the code for estranged family bullshit deciding to ruin your already shitty day? Over.”
There was a brief pause before Robin said, “I’d call it a Code Fuck That,” as Dustin spoke at the same time; “It’s a Code Blue, over.”

Summary
There's a new restaurant across from Eddie's game store - and that is just his newest problem.
Hot cuisine or whatever it's called isn't something he thought he needed in his life. He's more of a greasy cheeseburgers, cigarettes and dry cereal kinda guy. All things considered, the hip new place with its fancy food and its thriving social media account should stand for everything he hates.
Except the owner is making it really hard - pun intended.
Because Steve isn't a superficial, capitalist asshole. He's a nice guy with beautiful hair and great hands and a quirky sense of humor and great hands and a fantastic ass, and did Eddie mention the hands? For some reason, he can't stop staring at them, which is very unfortunate - especially since Steve seems to have made it his mission to introduce him to a more varied diet, and Eddie is developing some extremely inappropriate feelings related to food and cooking here.
Between burst pipes, DnD campaigns, annoying influencers, and the shiny new mall project that is threatening their neighborhood, it's all a lot to deal with, but he guesses he'll just have to suck it up - pun, again, very much intended.

Summary
Eddie never expected to rely on other people as much as he relied on Steve, Robin, Nancy, Jonathan or even the kids. They weren’t allowed to talk about everything that happened with Vecna with anyone else and Eddie was pretty sure that having those people in his life, people who were there with him when it all happened, people who were able to understand him, were the only reason he was still sane.
He was thankful that they were a part of his life, but he also was incredibly scared to lose them. He knew that most people didn’t like him, that they had their prejudices and usually he didn’t really care about it, at least not anymore. But he couldn’t imagine a life without his new friends and he was scared to lose them.
So when they started to behave weirdly and treat him differently than before, he blamed himself.
Or
Five times Eddie thought Steve hated him and one time he realised that’s not the case.

“Green,” comes the reply, so enthusiastically it makes Steve think they'll need to introduce an extra color, specifically for this occasion. “So very green, you have no- aaah, shit.”
Because Eddie has actually started bouncing on the balls of his feet, and the movement has tugged on the chain that’s still loosely grasped in Steve’s hand. Or, to be more specific, the nipple clamp that the chain is attached to.
