Summary
It should be him there. It should be him laughing with Andy, stroking his hair, staring at him lovingly. It should be Seth and nobody else. Instead it was the wonderful Joanna Newsom. Seth was just a spectator, watching from a third person view. He had never felt this awful.

Summary
Mike had always believed there was a sweet spot to drinking. A narrow, shimmering window where everything felt possible, where jokes landed harder, where the night cracked open and let you step through it. He had missed that window by several miles and was now tumbling down a hill with no brakes, Trevor laughing too loud beside him, the bar lights smearing into something soft and unreal.
"This," Trevor said, slinging an arm around Mike’s shoulders, "is what freedom tastes like."
Freedom tasted like cheap whiskey and regret and the vague sense that his phone was vibrating even though it wasn’t. Mike squinted at his glass, then at Trevor, then at the blonde across the bar who had definitely been smiling at him five minutes ago and was now very clearly talking to someone else.

Summary
The HR rep, a soft-voiced woman with the name tag Karen, sat beside Jessica with a legal pad and a cup of peppermint tea.
Mike paused in the doorway, suddenly aware of how out of place he must look, how guilty he probably looked despite having no idea what he was walking into. Karen offered him a gentle smile that felt all wrong.
"Mike, please. Have a seat."
He sat. Jessica gave him a small nod that didn’t comfort him at all.
"Mike," Karen began, her voice warm in a way that made him think of guidance counselors and pamphlets about coping with stress. "We asked you here because some concerns have been raised. About you. And about Harvey Specter."
"What concerns?"
Karen inhaled. "There have been rumors circulating. About Mr. Specter possibly... pressuring you. Into a relationship of a sexual nature."

Summary
Harvey woke to a sound that took a few seconds to register.
It wasn’t light. That alone was disorienting. No phone beam boring into his skull, no harsh glow cutting through the dark. The room was dim, the city outside muted and distant, the clock on the nightstand casting a faint red blur he didn’t bother to focus on.
The sound came again. Soft. Wet. Broken.
Sniffling.
Harvey’s body went still in that particular way it did when his brain was already sprinting ahead of him, cataloguing possibilities he didn’t like. Mike didn’t cry quietly. Mike cried with hiccups and sharp breaths and a complete lack of shame. This was restrained. Contained. Like he was trying very hard not to be noticed.

Summary
“Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.”
Mike blinks up at Harvey, pen dangling from between his lips. He’s obviously waiting for something to follow, but when it doesn’t come, he tilts his head.
“...What about it?”
Harvey regards him for a long moment, before dropping the file in his hand. Mike follows it with his eyes, narrowing in on the title of the printed sheet of paper.
“Is this to do with a case? Why have you – why have you printed out a list of ADHD symptoms? From WebMD too? Come on dude.”
Mike reaches out for the file, the pen dropping from his mouth and into his lap, leaving a dot of navy on the light grey material of his trousers. It makes Harvey a little bit want to smack him.
“Don’t call me dude. Read it.”

Summary
It’s a neon green plastic cube with all sorts of technicolour buttons and switches on it, the kind of thing that Harold would carry around with him, for crying out loud.
“You’re not having that thing in my office.” Harvey snaps, deliberately not looking as Mike’s face falls. “Bin it.”
“But—“
“Bin it.”
