Summary
Izuku Midoriya and Hitoshi Shinso are never going to be the kind of heroes that make civilains think ‘oh, thank god we’re saved,’ when they arrive at the scene. There's too much prejudice against them, so a kid with a villain quirk and one with no quirk at all are never going to be able to inspire that sort of trust.
So instead of becoming heroes that bring hope, they decide to become the next best thing.

Summary
Of all the quirks in existence, it HAD to be the one with the most awkward activation method ever: kissing. But Izuku is nothing but determined, and even with a quirk that lands him into more embarrassing instances than necessary, he's still going to be a hero anyways.

Surrounded by friends and families, admirers and supporters, the boy who was once overwhelmed by having two people to call 'friend' is alone and it's entirely his fault.
In his refusal to acknowledge what took place, Izuku's journey after the end of the fighting is a rough one. But a flawed mother, a heartbroken best friend, a father-like mentor, a friend on a similar path and an unsually soft explosive childhood friend will try as much as Izuku allows to help him heal from his pain. But can all the love in the world heal someone so broken?

Yagi Toshinori watched the green haired boy walk away after saving his friend and shook his head. While the boy's actions were heroic, he was just too reckless. He walked in the opposite direction, thinking about a time he could meet the candidate Sir Nighteye put forward.
Izuku Midoriya goes home and decides that, even if he can't be hero himself, he can still help them with his analysis. Cue Izuku catching the attention of multiple heroes who are a little more open-minded and willing to see the potential in a quirkless kid.

From a young age I knew that this world was unfair.
Everything was viewed through a black and white lens. You were either a Villain: evil to the core and the scum of the Earth or a Hero: good and just and incapable of any wrong or you were a civilian: nothing, collateral damage, spare pieces in this complex game known as life. I was deemed a Villain before I was even born, because of who my father was you see, and made the dreadful mistake of dreaming to be a Hero. I was Quirkless on top of everything but still I wanted to save people, i wanted to change lives. I still do and I can do that now.But...not in the way I thought I would.

So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life.
