Inspired by someone mentioning crochet patterns as a fan work, here are 19 colour-work crochet scarf patterns based on the 5 Major Sects (plus Yiling Wei) and on our favourite characters. Plus some worldbuilding about how these patterns could exist in the actual canon-type universe.

    Bookmarker's Notes

This is literally one of the funniest things I've read in ages.
    Hands down.
I cackled with laughter. It made my cheeks hurt from grinning madly.
I was unable to maintain my stern mommy- face when confronted with annoying Junior because I was in the middle of this story and my laugh-out-loud mode was engaged.

If you're at all familiar with BTS, text chats and have a slightly morbid sense of humour, this is for YOU.

    Summary

Jin Ling had begun to suspect years ago that there were parts of his family history that had been crossed out; long streaks of black where Wei Wuxian had been. The truth is more like whole books being brought up from their hiding places again.

Or: Jin Ling tries to figure out what family means, now.

The most painfully beautiful exploration of healing wounds, old stories brought to light, and the forging and re-forging of bonds of family and love.
Also, Jin Ling being his mother's son.

    Bookmarker's Notes

One of those cases of the fanfic being better than the original.
This series takes a great show, developes it into a story which is technically post-canon and therefore does not require you to BREAK with canon, and then just brings out ALL THE FEELS and makes everything beautiful, hilariously funny, teardrippingly, achingly bittersweet and lovely and just perfect in every single way.
Did you like The Untamed? I can practically guarantee you will love this.

    Summary

"Zewu-Jun. You once told me about a house surrounded by gentians, where you visited once a month, and how Lan Zhan still waited there, even when the door no longer opened."

Xichen feels light-headed. He feels shocked, and angry. He has never told anyone such a thing, but Lan Zhan is giving Xichen a look of utter betrayal.

"You told him?" Lan Zhan whispers. "When?"

Wei Wuxian takes Lan Zhan's hand. "About twenty years from now."

Wei Wuxian starts again from the beginning.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Beautifully written redo of the Untamed-verse, of the kind that made me laugh and cry and then laugh and cry again. I cried because it was a bit sad, and a lot beautiful, and so heartfelt and pure that I honestly wish I hadn't read it just so I could experience this ride for the first time - again.
