Instead of dragons aspiring to godhood, there's much talk of an Emperor losing his marbles, his once-beloved daughter becoming a wanted fugitive, and a vengeful ghost trying to overthrow the government. But, seriously, it's none of Cale's business.
This wasn't on the roster of worlds to save, the body he's in is half-dead, none of his allies are with him, there's a god out there that he must kill, and most importantly of all, Cale hates hard work.
If only Felix Robane hadn't forced him to come to that damn debutante ball.
