Basically, Sirius has gay realisations and finds out he is in love with his best friend. Of course, he’s an oblivious idiot, making everything more complicated. A lot of jealous Sirius and some jealous Remus as well. Because well, what’s the fun in having them communicate normally, right? (They do communicate eventually I promise). After overhearing some gossip between Remus and Lily (and weirdly accurate Quidditch understanding from them both) Sirius convinces them to commentate on a match.
This turns out to be a miraculously bad idea when Moony decides to spend the whole time flirting, and Evans does nothing but encourage him.
Sirius gets hit with multiple bludgers while he’s distracted, and James falls off his broomstick when Lily calls him hot.
