Arnold heard garbled laughter over the receiver. It didn’t surprise Arnold that Dispatch had heard him; he is always monitoring.
“That information is not on the Fazbear Entertainment ‘Need-to-know list!’”
The employee rolled his eyes, ended the program on the monitor, and cracked his neck. “Well, I think that endo is valuable Fazbear property, and you won’t get it if I just walk out of here, will you?”

None of them are union, but Arnold is sure that somewhere in his contract there's something about mandated 30-minute breaks. Dispatch tries "negotiating" overtime with the promise of a company pizza party, but Arnold is—literally—too exhausted to physically move from his spot in the back of the van.
Being too exhausted to physically move also means he's too exhausted to keep his mental filter in check.

Peepers glared.
"You gotta tell him! Tell Hatey that you loooove him!" Wander swung himself into Peepers' arms, leaving the latter baffled.
Peepers shuddered, letting Wander fall to the ground.

Peepers has been feeling midly sick lately. But it's fine. In between taking care of Lord Hater, dealing with his troops, and managing some very unwelcome feelings, the commander already has plenty on his plate. His health can pipe down.
Which it does, for a while, until he starts coughing up flowers.
After that, everything rapidly decends into the very much "not fine" category, as Peepers begins a race against time and a disease he can't comprehend in order to save his life.
But he will take care of that too. He'll be fine.
...Right?

The most important factor is that the color of the marker is always black.
Which is why Peepers hunted down a red marker. Red is everything his tyrant is against. Red is loud, messy, and bloody. Red is an emotion tied up in itself. It largely contrasts to her bland tones of whites, grays, and blacks.
Red is perfect.

Summary
Captain Tim is used to Hater barging into his room wailing. That's a typical night for him, along with shredding Hater's face apart. What is unusual, however, is Hater remaining sad. Left with a strange feeling in his chest from Lord Hater's sorrow, Captain Tim finds the root of his problem. Hater's lack of a mate.
Deciding Commander Peepers would be the most compatible, he sets out to bring the two together.

It had been four weeks since the defeat of Lord Dominator. Lord Hater, as undeterred as ever, had gone back to his eternal quest to defeat his supposed archenemy - and his commander, who was both relieved and frankly exhausted by this, had gone back to managing the mess left in his wake.
Or at least, that’s what he should’ve been doing. Instead, Commander Peepers was quickly realizing that things were anything but back to normal.
