But not Lo’ak. Lo’ak knew everything would be perfect. Because his future was bright and full of joy to come. Metkayina warrior in training and officially courting Tsireya to become his mate, everything was planned, known and already set for him. Soon, he and Tsireya would get their own Marui. She would give him children and he would finally have his place in the clan. Yes. Everything would be perfect…
Or would have been, had Lo’ak’s Navi body not decided to awaken with the wrong person at the worst time…
Or was Spider really the wrong person?
As Mo’at always said, Awakening can only happen when it recognizes its match.

The bed creaked as Sprout climbed off. When he stood in front of Hitch, just the metallic bars separating them, he had his legs positioned in a way to hide himself, but Hitch could see it anyways, how his deputy's arousal was still slightly unsheathed between them. A mere remnant of the night that served as a good sign.
There was silence, a palpable tension as they both stood close to each other. They could hear each other breathing, see the need, the moons of yearning none of them knew the other carried until now, all finally about to explode if only even the tiniest yes was given.
“I’m not…this doesn’t mean I…”
“Do you want it to mean something?”

Summary
Bonding with the Toruk had…side effects, Norm had told him once Spider came to ask, especially for Jake, who was in an Avatar body and lacked the experience in tsaheylu other Na’vi had. His mind was- well, not exactly weaker, but it was different. More open to influences once a bond was made. Influences that changed Jake, made him act different sometimes.
OR
After connecting to Toruk in the first movie, Jake ended up with some of his characteristics. Mainly manifesting in bursts of "moods" in which Jake reverts to more primal, animalistic instincts causing him to mostly want to stay home and cuddle his family.
Spider learns the hard way that he, too, is a Sully.

Every so often, the Entity grows bored of normal Trial shenanigans. Usually when such a thing happens, the entire Realm will feel it. The sudden arrival of snowmen and piles of snowballs, or gaudy blue and gold ribbons and game changing magics were impossible to miss after all. Not that most of the Killers or Survivors minded these events. They were rich with blood points and other rewards, allowing them to barter for more clothes, food, or items to help them during their Trials.
But sometimes the Entity wants something… different. Personal. Targeted. Looking down from her web, ethereal eyes peer through fog and trees, seeking her favorite little play thing. There, sleeping by the campfire, is Dwight.
Reaching out with an invisible claw, the Entity leaves a new mark on the Survivor. Invisible. Unseen. But oozing with a strange magnetism… Yes… This should be very entertaining…
