Player stared at the unconscious criminal folded like spaghetti on the floor. “Bramble, what if I boiled you. Or steamed you. Air fried you, even.”
Static started snickering.
The way Bramble’s grin immediately dropped into an ‘oh shit’ would’ve been hilarious if Player wasn’t so busy chasing him out the door. “We had ONE RULE! ONE RULE, JACKASS!”

After getting their previous job blown up by villains, Player decides to dip into the life of vigilantism with nothing but a frying pan and a heart full of spite. Summary
In the world ridden with beasts, monsters, and demons, an alliance of brave monster hunters is the only hope common folk have to be protected against the forces of darkness. Sonic and Tails, a pair of brave hero newbies, are sent to their first, serious mission alongside a somewhat experienced hunter named Knuckles, and must deal with a beast terrorizing Windmill Village.
Things are spun out of control once Sonic is bitten by the beast during an attempted ambush and gets turned into one himself, now balancing dangerously between the world of people and monsters.
